danopics is one of three ideas I submitted to the Indianapolis Public Library’s, Library’s Got Talent 2025, a staff art exhibit.
Abstrakt Schmetterling Sache (abstract butterfly thing; see below) 50 inches wide x 30 inches tall: I derived this piece from a coffee table that I painted, then photographed, and digitally edited, printed 15 x ~10 inch square inkjet prints, transferred to 15 wood panels and assembled the polyptych as a single ~50 x 30 inch multimedia artwork. This is one of many versions of images from the coffee table, exploring- line, color and texture (mark making). This is a physical piece that is on display at at Central Library, Indianapolis Publid Library ⇗ in the Yellow Gallery during October, 2025.
ERRORS (2001): Yes, this is from way back in 2001. I smashed computer and human errors together in this interactive work to express what we all must endure- computers/software and the human body are flawed. Computer code can be fixed and so can the human body, at least to some extent. ERRORS is meant to be somewhat of a whimsical combination of both through random exploration. This is currently on display in the yellow gallery at Central Library, Indianapolis Publid Library ⇗. You can check here for a few screen grabs and video clips ⇗ of the piece.
